Hello Ladies....
I haven't posted for a minute.....just really hadn't had the energy. It's truly amazing how God gives us the strength to endure the storm!! I praise & thank Him for it!!
I'm happy for all of the progress some of you are experiencing...and I share in the pain of those who are just starting to walk this path of madness!! One bit of advice...just keep moving....keep going....get much rest when your body calls for it...WE WILL SURVIVE with our character intact....refined and better just because of the experience!!
Well...H informed me that there are now 2 babies (from 6 to 2...one heck of a reduction!!)...1 died a couple of weeks ago. He said she showed him a picture...she was allowed to dress the baby and hold the baby for a while. I asked how the baby was delivered without affecting the other 2....she told him they used some type of suction method....inserted some type of suction tool into vagina and removed baby. The doctor wanted to deliver the other 2 at this time...but she wanted to wait and carry them full term. She has about 3 weeks left. They have extremely weak hearts and doctor says that this sometimes improves with time. Apparantly the one that died had an obstruction in the umbilical cord and wasn't getting any nurishment. Ladies my question to you all is this....Is it possible to deliver a deceased baby in the afore mentioned way?? I told spouse that I didn't think it was possible...but wasn't sure. He is finally starting to see OW for the nut she really is...I feel bad for her losing the baby (if she really did) but she is dealing with some serious issues!! I'm anxious to see how this whole thing actually unfolds...it has really been quite the circus!!
I hope to hear from all who can educate me about the delivery process!!
Much Love to My Sisters in The Struggle.....
(I feel like a Revolutionary)
Broke-Down
[This message has been edited by Broke-Down (edited June 03, 2001).]

Hi Broke down,
Well most of the stuff OW has told is a bunch of CRAP..I am a high risk OB RN..have been in aot of high risk deliveries...lots of multiples.. First yes it is possible to deliver one and keep the others intact...BUT suction would not be used..a vaccum might..but if she is 37 weeks ( you said she had 3 weeks to go ...40 being term)..she would have to be fully dialated..and there IS NO WAY IN HELL (SORRY)..that the other would not have been delivered...remember she is fully dialated... if she was 24 + weeks and the babies NEEDED to stay in...the would have delivered the one..tied off the cord (clamped it)..PUT her in trendlenburg ( which is upside down) and monitored her blood levels 2-3 times a day..because infection could kill all the babies and risk mom...BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL (did I say that already??)..they would risk the remaining babies and mom if she is 37 weeks...heck I delivered one at 36 and she was fine..NO WAY NO WAY...this woman is a PATHELOGICAL LIER...please show you husband my post...I have been in this field for 17 years..all I did was HIGH RISK.....this woman is so full of crap... you have to smell the stinch even through the phone...NOW they have heart problems...ask what kind...she is SCARY..I am glad she is your OW and NOT mine..of course mine is scary too...sometimes from the stories I hear here..I think we all have the same OW...Now some of the stuff she said is what can happen...a baby can die from a cord accident...and they do allow the parents to bond etc...BUT HERE IS HER FLAW..IN THE STORY..if the baby had been dead..and the used suction...those with a weak stomach..do not read any further please...

the baby would not have been intact...so she would have been unsble to dress and hold...the baby..this was the part of the job that was not good...and if you think about it..does that not make sense??? ...your husband is very gullible...
maybe you should tell him you are the queen of sheba...and you are now pregnant with quads...and they are all 10 lbs...and instead of nine months you will only be pregnant for 3...because you are special...sorry I could not resist...my H is naive too....OK my fun is over...it has been awhile since I bagged on someone elses husband other than my own...Good Luck
[This message has been edited by MyCross (edited June 03, 2001).]
