Here is the Reader's Digest version of my story. I have been married 15 years and don't have children. I really want children and as I approach the time that I will no longer be able to have them, my urge is growing. So why don't I have them? My husband, doesn't want kids, doesn't like them and said he didn't even like kids when he was a kid. I thought I could live with this decision that was forced upon me but now I am not so sure. My husband works really hard and is a good provider, I couldn't want more in the material sense; however, my emotional needs are not being met. He is never home (because he is always working) and we have grown apart. I don't know if we can or I want to try to rebuild this relationship. I am just not happy and don't know if I ever was. I don't know if having a baby will make me happy, but I do I have thought about it everyday for the last six years. There are many other issues I could discuss, but I think that is enough for now. I welcome your comments and wisdom.
