I was wondering if anyone knew how I could find out if the OC is born yet. OW is due in January, she may have alll ready had it. She hasn't contacted H since he told me about A a few weeks ago. (OW was threatening to tell me if he didn't go to appointments)but since he's told me she hasn't called him. I don't live in the same city the OC is supposed to be born in and she may even have it in another state. Is there a way to get birth records somehow? I need to know when this child is born or it will kill me not knowing what's going on. Any advice is appreciated.
Natalia

Hi Natalia!!
The way I found out was in the public records section of our newspaper. But with you not in the same town as her you would have to find out her local paper and look it up online to see if they have a section like where she lives.
And the only way to access the birth cert which is public information, is if she has even filed one yet. I know on my 2nd child who is now 3 I haven't needed one yet so I haven't even filed. I don't know if that matters or not though.
Hope that helped. Have a wonderful weekend!!

I know that in my state, if the mother is single, then the birth certificate is private. I went to look at the public records and they wouldn't give out the info for that reason.
Good luck!
tinlizzy
