15 pieces of Advice to pass on:
1. Don’t imagine you can change a man - unless he’s in diapers 2. What do you do if your boyfriend walks out? You shut the door 3. If they put a man on the moon - they should be able to put them all up there 4. Never let your man’s mind wander - it’s too little to be out alone 5. Go for the younger man. You might, as well they never mature anyway 6. Men are all the same - they just have different faces, so that you can tell them apart 7. Definition of a bachelor: a man who has missed the opportunity to make some woman miserable 8. Women don’t make fools of men - most of them are the do-it-yourself types 9. Best way to get a man to do something is to suggest he is too old for it 10. Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener 11. If you want a committed man, look in a mental hospital 12. The children of Israel wandered around the desert for 40 years. Even in Biblical times, men wouldn’t ask for directions 13. If he asks what sort of books you’re interested in, tell him checkbooks 14. Remember a sense of humor does not mean that you tell him jokes, it means that you laugh at his 15. Sadly, all men are created equal

Sorry for your pain and I hope the New Year brings you healing and reconciliation. By the way, "devastated" is misspelled. At least I am one of those creepy men that can spell! Ha! Ha!

Hurting Promise Keeper,
Good eye didn't catch that myself until you pointed it out. I think your getting back at me for the "15 pieces of Advice?" LOL...
I never make New Year resolutions but this New Year I will. With the much hard lessons learned this year, 04’ will be a time to move on. My initial focus will be on my marriage but I will not loose sight of my needs either; I deserve to have a year devoted to me.
·I’ll get back into socializing with my girlfriends; I miss girl’s night out. ·Shopping for myself other than Wal-Mart (when you have a teenage son like mine, he won’t settle for just anything) He thinks we have a money tree in the yard !!! ·Writing & calling my long distance friends more often ·Financially plan better for 04’ Holidays ·Take a summer family vacation (together) I won an Exclusive paid vacation on our local radio station a few weeks ago (going to Disney World) ·Be more responsible with paying bills by catching up and being current ·Take my boys out to special events such as plays, family concerts, etc.
I’m determined to make the New Year better for my family and especially myself. I know our problems won’t disappear overnight but I won’t let it ruin our lives either.
Does anyone have a New Year resolution? Please share…

I used to make the same one every year---Stop biting my nails!---LOL
I never did it though so I gave up. Now I just set realistic "goals" They sound like yours.
I think things will naturally be better this year and I promise to be less uptight.
let's see... 1.Read Bible every day 2.Have more fun w/ kids 3.Have a consistently clean home (is that possible w/ 4 kids?)
I better stop there. I've already set my standards too high I think.
Happy New Year!
