Though I am not surprised that she took it off this morning. I was surprised and hurt when she looked at it when we got to a city close to home in the metropolis in which we live. She kept it on all last night. She took it off before going to work this morning.
She wonders why she is so conflicted. She wants to present herself in the light she thinks is appropriate for what ever situation she finds herself in. This presentation is not the REAL her. It bothers her that I am able to be the real me regardless of the situation. I want people to know me WARTS and all because I can't become a better person unless someone corrects me to make me aware of my shortcomings that I am not aware of. And for those that I am aware of maybe I could get some advice that will make it clear to me that will cause me to change that behavior.
We had a wonderful weekend inspite of the lie that she lived. I massaged her feet and legs last night. She thank me afterward for the massage as well as for not making any moves on her while we were at my brother's home.
My brother told me that she told SIL about our sleeping arrangements and that my mother started the rumor about her having an affair. She has had an affair. She has had 8 of them in the last 7+ years.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob
regilmor@swbell.net
[This message has been edited by professorg (edited February 22, 2000).]

Rob,
I'm sorry for your pain! You are going back and forth with the emotions, and I can see the pain all over it!
I know it's hard, but you and I both need to quit taking each moment as a sign of something. We need to just live.
Best wishes...
