Just wanted to share with you all a book that I have recently been reading...Relationship Rescue by Phil McGraw. It has really hit home for me because some of the bad spirit behaviors he talks about were like he was talking about ME. It really upset me for a couple of days after reading it to realize the kind of destructive behavior that I had been using to get my H attention, and not realizing how it was hurting him. Don't get me wrong, I don't in any way think that it gave him the right to seek another W, but it has helped me see how my behavior has contributed to past problems. I am up to the part about relationship values and there are a couple of things that I think I forgot along the way...be your H best friend and put emotion in motion. So today I called him up at work and asked him out for a date! He was laughing and thought I was crazy...I told him that it had been a long time since I had asked a guy out for a date. He suggested that I pick him up at 'his' place instead of taking two cars! He said he would check his calendar and see if he was free. We were both laughing and acting silly. It was good to hear him laugh and tease me back...I wonder how many of us have forgotten to just be silly and laugh like we used to because we have gotten so caught up in 'life'. In any event, it is a book worth looking into if you want one that really makes you take an honest look at yourself first.

We had an opportunity to get Dr. Phil to help us, but my husband said no. So now I'm reading the book myself. I don't know if it will help me by myself, but what have a got to lose. Helps past the time, and at least I KNOW I DID all I could to help save my marriage. I will have no regrets.<BR>
