Hey, anyone up for starting a fourth of July party a little early. My H gets off at 5 this evening and is off for 5 days. I think I may have to start decorating the house, with red, white and blue streamers. <P>Go out and buy the veggies and dip for the veggie platters, maybe some meats and cheeses for a platter, fruits for th fruit platter. Hamburgers and hot dogs to put on the bbq. Some cold beers for the guests.<P>Go put on Stars and Strips Forever on the CD player and blast it throughout the neighborhood. At least until the neighbors start to complain.<P>Anything else I may need? (besides more guests that is. I know I need more guests)

purple,<P>There are a bunch of parrotheads floating around the MB site....I've met several!<P>I live near Washington, D.C. and the Buffet concerts sold-out in just a couple of hours. He's the hottest ticket in town! I saw him many years ago on the 4th of July....what a blast. My W got me his newest CD for our anniversary and made a batch of boat drinks!<P>Pencil Thin Mustache is my favorite with Changes in Lattitude, Changes in Attitude coming in a close second. My 4 yo daughter likes to sing Cheeseburger in Paradise and Fins....she likes to listen to Margaritaville, she calls it the Spongecake Song....(LOL!!!)<P>Just over 24 hours and we start the yard party....I think this one is going to be bigger than our (neighbor, wife & I) last yard party!!! I went out and bought fireworks yesterday!<P>What's funny, starting to host these parties has helped my W to start opening up. She really is enjoying them and gets excited in planning them! And, since she doesn't know everyone all that well, she's learning how to converse with strangers. This is a big step for her! Who would have guessed that hosting yard parties would help us grow together?
