My husband ended his A almost 3 years ago. It has taken me this long to heal also. I am doing well these days.

Today I was outside cleaning the back of our car with my H and guess who passes by? You guessed it...the OW. I have seen her in our neighborhood vicinity off and on over this year but I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. I convinced my self she had a good reason for being on the other side of town from where she lives and the opposite direction from where she works.
This evening was the last straw. Remember when you were in high school and you would pass by someones house and hope to God they wouldn't be outside? Well, my H and I were outside as well as our neighbors. We live on a dead end street/ cul de sac. None of our neighbors are friends of hers. She just drove down and turned around and went back out. My H swore on the bible that he has no contact with her. I believe him. He has been wonderful. However, I am scared. Is this woman insane? That is soooo pathetic. Get a life. I have filed a police report over last incident in April 2000. Should I file about this for documentation purposes? Advice pllleeasssse. I think she wants to make trouble for us..i.e. throw a wrench in my new found happy marriage.

I'm not sure what the laws are in your state, however where I live, there are stalking laws....by ALL means, at least file a complaint so that they (the authorities) are aware of the situation. If her behavior continues without explanation, seek professional help! (lawyers aren't cheap, but are good with letters!) Maybe you can threaten harrassment/stalking suit? With the back up of the complaints you've filed, it shouldn't be hard to make her back off.
There is NO reason for you to have to put up with that type of behavior! Hopefully your H is being supportive of your feelings and will not have a problem helping you "deal" with the situation.
I am in my 2 year of recovery, and I know that just seeing the OW sets me back. My thoughts are with you....hang in there!
Cyn

viva,
Maybe you should just smile and wave? Better yet, you should wave and your husband should give you a HUGE kiss as she drives by.
On a more serious note, do you have any reason to believe she might attempt any kind of violence? Does she have a history of it or anything? If so, then, definitely file a police report. Otherwise, I am thinking that she is just trying to get to you, and, unfortunately, she is succeeding. Not that I blame you - I completely understand.
But remember: the best revenge is living well.

------------------
terri
Courage
Whatever course you decide upon,
there is always someone to tell you
that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising
which tempt you to believe that your
critics are right.
To map out a course of action
and follow it to an end
requires courage.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
