I just don't know, folks. I guess I obsess about the stupidest things.....
I found out (by snooping on web-sites) that my H is apparently NOT paying some of his bills, schools loans, (I haven't looked at all of them yet). He had the addy's changed so they go to OW's house, at least I'm not being bothered by phone calls from his creditors. That's a big plus for him! But now my concern is that if he's not paying his creditors, it will adversely affect BOTH of our credit. We are not in a "community property" state, BUT, we have a ARM mortgage, and were planning to refinance in the fall. With his creditors all showing NO PAY, or 60-90 or God forbid who knows how many days late by that time, how can we/I refinance when the time comes to do so?
I do not understand HOW a man who was so bummed out bec he wasn't working, and "didn't want me to support him" could now be with his OW, and ISN'T working, and isn't paying his bills and he doesn't even care!!!
I know he's in a major state of depression, as his son says he "seems to just be going through the motions" when he's with him....but when will he WAKE up? And will he take both of us down to financial RUIN before he does????? And how long will this LOSER OW want to keep getting phone calls at her home demanding payments before SHE gets sick of it?
Sometimes I think he's not in such a fog, and feels SOOO bad for what he's done, that this will be his "punishment" for what he's done, and he'll just be locked up (kinda like debtor's prison?) for screwing up so bad....sorry H, it doens't happen anymore like that!
Has anyone else gotten into a financial MESS with WS's A, and then what? How do you dig out? I am so far "making it" with my salary, but it's gonna be a tight fit.
Feeling Scared and alone,
Lupo

Lupo - your concerns are valid. Are you separated - sorry, I can't remember. Please consider getting the advice of an attorney. it's possible a legal separation can insulate you from financial ruin.
WAT
