OK.....I encourage everyone to have a good laugh out of this one.....at my H's expense.<P>He came to visit the girls yesterday....all went well. His father called while he was here....asked him to stop by when he was done visiting the girls. H knew he was in for a butt ripping.<BR>H got ready to leave....and the girls just broke down....first time really broke down since he left 10 days ago.<BR>My oldest asked him to stay....he said sorry...I can't.<BR>Our middle one asked him to stay....when he said sorry...I can't...she walked away from him....wouldn't even look at him....sniffling a little.<BR>Our youngest....who is a daddies girl.....asked daddy to stay about 5 times and he was just saying....sorry honey....I can't. <BR>THEN.....she started begging him to take her with him.....actually begging....from a 3 yr old. She was crying harder than I'd seen her do in a long time....and then my H started crying and hugging her.<BR>I couldn't take it any longer...my heart was breaking for them. I said....H....just give her a tight hug....let her go....and leave. It's too hard on these girls and it's getting harder and harder everytime you leave them.<BR>He didn't want to....but he did....he was crying as he walked out the door. I was holding our youngest and crying at this point.<BR>When he walked out the door.....our youngest jumped off my lap and ran into her room climbed up on the toy box.....put her head up to the window.....HE could see her there....and she pounded on the window....screaming for her daddy. He just looked at her and cried harder.....and then left.<BR>I finally got everyone settled down about an hour later.<BR>My heart is breaking for these girls.<P>Anyway....on to the funny part.<BR>At about midnight last night......someone called.....it was my H....the phone rang once....I saw the # on the caller ID....and by the time I picked it up.....he had hung up.<BR>Guess what??<P>He was trying to call her....and called OUR # instead.<BR>Gettin a good laugh out of this right now.<BR>I tried to call back.....for almost an hour and the phone was busy. <BR>Um......can anyone say DUH!!! He just gave himself away.<P>He called me this morning and I played it cool.<BR>I said.....did you want something important when you called last night? He said....no....just wanted to check on the girls.....lie.....he didn't even let it ring the whole second time....and to call and check on them when he knows they are already in bed? Don't think so. Besides....he's never called to just check on them anyway.<BR>I said.....well....I tried to call back but the phone was busy for well over an hour. He actually had the nerve to say....I don't know if your sister got on the phone or not.<BR>Laughing reall hard now.......my sister goes to bed everynight on the dot at 9 during the weekday. Does he think I'm stupid?? <P>Anyway.....he told me that he sat through an hour and a half of his dad ripping his butt for not being with his kids and his wife and finally he just got up.....looked at his parents and said.....I'm sorry for ruining your life and walked out the door. How callous of him.....his parents have been there for us in every possible way since we have been married.....I love them as my own parents and they accept me as more than just a daughter in law.<BR>He just doesn't care at this point......the FOG has really settled in what is left of his brain.<P>I'm laughing so hard about this whole phone call thing......never thought he would actually give himself away. I want to see him explain his way out of this.

How do u know he was trying to call OW?

Well....actually....I don't know that it was actually the OW that he was trying to call......but it really couldn't have been anyone else.<P>H only has one real true friend that he would call and talk to....and he is out of town right now....and not able to get ahold of....I know this for a fact.<P>AND.....the OW works nights....and the time coincides with the time that she gets home. He admitted last time that he would call her when he got off of work.....he was working nights and her days then....now it's reversed.<BR>This is the only time they are able to talk.....they can't talk at work or they would give themselves away.<BR>Her H also told me that his W (OW) has even told him that my H calls her at this time every night.<BR>

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious he was talking to OW. Otherwise, why wouldn't he just tell the truth (I was on the phone with XYZ), or at least be able to make up a better story than that.<P>Moose brain worms for sure... WS's do/say some of the stupidest things sometimes...

It's hard to figure what they think we are - stupid or too trusting - when they're so wrapped up in themselves. <P>My wife looked at me once with a completely straight face and said, "I've only lied to you once."<P>My jaw just dropped. My sense was she actually believed herself.<P>Miss Priss - let your girls work their magic. Sooner or later I bet he'll be defenseless.<P>WAT

Let's just say they were both named "Susan" he always called my sister "Susan" but every once in awhile would call her from his cell and say (in a happy voice) "Hey Susie" right away. She thought it was weird, but then would say "Hi, what's up." Then he would scramble for something to say. Of course it all made sense when she found out he had an OW called "Susie".

Still laughing here.<P>Was wondering.....why he didn't just let me pick up when he realized he'd called the wrong #......just go along with it you know. I would have NEVER thought anything about it if he had. BUT....he could't do that....then he would have to explain to the OW why he was late calling her.<P>Another good one.....just found out that H took a half day off of work Wed. Funny.....OW is home at the time he took off of work and she doesn't have her kids this week. He knows that we need him to work at least 12 hours a day for a while to get our bills paid up.....when will this irresponsibility end?? <P>I'm not gonna say anything to him.....I'm not gonna say anything to him.....I have to keep saying that....I have a bad habit of just letting it rip.....but I'm getting TONS better.<BR>i just want to call his bluff.....make him be man enough to admit what he's doing.....his dirty little secret.....but I'll think I'll let him do it himself.....he seems to be doing a pretty good job of it already......LOL
