I"m having one helluva night tonight. H has gone to a friend of a friends' cottage overnight.. he'll be back sometime on Sunday night. I figure it'll be after lunch, b/c the forecast is calling for 100% chance of rain.
I'm not upset that he's gone out. I knew about it all week. What I"m p.o'd over, is that although he was home all day, he up and left major clean up for me to do. I'm tired of it. A BIG part of me wants to just leave it around ... and if the 2 yr old gets into it tomorrow, then "oh well... H's problem for leaving it within reach". (there are 3 laptops and a gazillion disks on the kitchen table).
Karen
I'm here. Taking a rest from a huge grocery shopping trip. Did my 3 month restocking of the pantry. And also from landscaping. STL is building us the most beautiful deck, flower beds and ponds. He's obsessed with it and I'm his helper. ButI needed a break. So here here I am.
Z
------------------
He loves not who does not show love.
----William Shakespeare

OH, and did I mention that dog we took in overnight a few days ago pissed all over some bags on my landing to the basement??? AUGH!!! Now THAT was fun to clean up! (I didn't notice anything until tonight... with the cooler weather lately.. it didn't even smell! Weird, huh? Then again, I don't smell pee all that well right now. I've got a bit of a cold coming on, and having 3 kids in diapers just makes me immune I guess! LOL
I'm just in a real pissy mood.. sort of. As Joan Rivers would say, "Let's talk!!!" What is with these guys? They go up to the cottage, find out that the guys' grandparents are already there sleeping.. so they come back here! DUH!!! Don't you think if you were going to use a family cottage you would let someone else know ahead of time???
He's gone back out again. Looks like the boys are having a sleepover!... you know the kind.. the ones that end with a hangover? LOL.
Karen
I am proud to say I have never watched any of the Rocky movies! LOL. Although, I probably should.. just like I should watch the Godfather series, the Die Hard movies, etc. I'm not much of a movie person anymore.. nor do I watch much tv. All of that changed for me when I kicked H out. I stayed online most of the time. That's one habit I'm obviously not broken from yet (grin)
Karen
Faith:
I get plenty of noise and company all day every day. Having a 2 yr old and 6 month old twins will do that to anyone! LOL. I appreciated the quiet at night. Yes, it was lonely, but necessary for sanity on my part (hehehe).
Karen
