I haven't been posting lately just reading and responding to a few other post. I believe H and I have come to what I hope to be an agreement to work on our marriage together. Finally, I feel he is on the same page as me. It has been hell getting here. I can sense a change in him. He has finally realized that he wants our relationship to work. He had told me two weekends ago that he felt he was waking up from a terrible dream and asked that Monday for me to please give him another chance. What set us back the past two weeks was my finding out he had been in contact with OW after he had told me he had stopped. (supposedly on August 19th) but still called her up to Sept. 14th...(the Friday before the Sunday he told me he was waking up from bad dream) I had a terrible time with this last discovery. This one did something to me and it took awhile for me to even agree to let him stay home and try to work things out. I think at some point you just get numb and want to give up, do something to bring you some relief from the hurt and pain....but you know what? giving up I found out isn't going to get rid of the pain...I have to let it go so it doesn't distroy me and any hope for our recovery...That is what I did today....let it go....I am starting to feel better and hope and pray we can truly make it....I have never felt such a range of emotions as I have felt these past 10 days or so....love, hate, anger, guilt, rage, and now finally peace....I pray you all will pray for us and offer me any advice as we enter/start what I hope is the recovery of our marriage....I am trusting him one more time with my heart...how I pray he won't break it again.....anyone have any advice for me, please share it so I don't make an avoidable mistake during this process.....
Thanks
Dianne

Hi Dianne, So glad to here from you, sounds like you and H are heading in the right direction, take it slow day by day.maybe the fog is lifting, and you can both go on the road to recovery. Don't have much advice,I am going in the opposite direction right now. I just wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you and your H for a full recovery and a happy M. Please keep us posted on your progress. love Sally
