Was wondering why things seem different around here aside from the new look. The atmosphere seems totally different I can't explain it, does anyone else feel this way???

I do.
A lot of people were cutting back before the change (including me, but then I've only said that about 2000 times over the last 2 1/2 years! )...
With the happenings of Sept. 11, I think many are clinging close to family, and staying off the internet... plus, I'm sure they're watching TV or reading the newspaper more than ever before...
And, then this forum was having so many problems over the last several months anyway... and they got worse right up until yesterday... a whole week away begins to change the "habit" of coming here -- although, again, clearly, I am not in the norm.... I can hold on to my addictions, depsite the obsticales ...
I don't know, just grasping at straws on this quiet, rainy, cold Friday night... while my H continues on his graveyard shift... so it's pretty lonely too...

Although the terrorist attacks may definitely have something to do with how people view their own personal problems, the change that we're noticing also has to do with how people have found inner strength, when MB was not around.
What I mean, is that many of us (including myself) find ourselves using MB to just help us get by, and make it another day. And it is a wonderful way of finding hope and encouragement. But we also need to find inner strength. Or, even better, look to God.
I've found that my "reliance" on this forum has gone down in its absence, but I hope I never forget it, and the people that helped me through all those tough times. I'm on a rock solid Plan A now (ok, maybe wood-solid) and have set a deadline for myself for Plan B. 6 months would be right on the Holidays, so I am going to push it off til January. If 7 months of no LB and an improved Plan A me isn't enough to convince her that I'm the one, then 6 months of no contact with me whatsoever ought to do it. If not. Then I am ready to move on.
Anyway, that was just a mini-update thrown in with my comment on the topic, hehe. I am still going to be around, though, and I hope I can help others to stay the course and finish what they started =)

sad sally,
Wow, haven't been here in ages. Admit miss it? Only a question.
Haven't been through the archives - truthfully, don't think anyone missed me.
I've been busy, getting my life back in order - the right way. Being positive and working for what I know is right, real, and correct.
Don't like the message icons - I lurked on another thread - I can only say it was VERY confusing. Hard to track what was going on - very unprofessional looking and not worth my time trying to figure out what was there.
I went to a place where people value my hard work, respect me for the person that I am, and give me recognition. Like I said, don't think anyone here missed me - have not seen "where's ..."
Sorry "I" can't be more positive.
