Just need to give a mini-vent so I don't go over THERE.
WS has strep throat and tonsilitis, and so I made her some home made chicken noodle soup last night. She came over this afternoon and picked it up and said she was probably just going to go to bed early tonight.
Well, I was feeling lonely (as usual) and thought I'd ring her to let her know I rented a couple of movies. BUT, she's not home....or already asleep at 7pm. I'm supposed to be at a hockey game but didn't feel like going out to the crowd.
Now that I called, I'm getting that feeling again that they're together. They're "taking a break" so she can figure things out, but the time limit for that is probably just about up.
I REALLY hope she's not over there getting taken care of!
I'll probably edit this out by monday so she doesn't get pissed if she happens to read it, but I just need to get it out.
Kev
[ December 09, 2001: Message edited by: kevco- ]

H and I are about to watch Twister on our big screen (how cool with that be? hehehe)... so I won't be long here.
STAY AT HOME!!!!
You cannot control who (or what? lol) your W spends time with. You can control YOURSELF. Stay at home if going out means you'll just 'happen' to drive by you know where. It's not worth it for your sanity.
So what if she's with him? Maybe he'll get sick too... then that could be a great LB for her. You never know... all I know, is that men (no offense of course...hehehe) are big babies when sick, and your W may not care to deal with that (after all, you said you had some tough times too in the last 4 yrs, right? I don't think she wants to look after ANY man right now). Just a thought.
Have a good night.. and again, STAY HOME!! T25-
Thanks for your words of wisdom....Yeah, I think you pretty much have sick men described to a T, well, at least >>I'M<< pitiful when sick. Thank Heaven that doesn't happen too often!
Sometimes I think it's better not knowing if it's "ON" again, and sometimes I just HAVE TO KNOW. Right now it's more of the latter. But then again, the last time I just had to know, I saw things that I'm pretty much going to carry to my grave- not pleasant.
I'm trying.
maybe I'll just go start a movie- rented Pearl Harbor and Planet of the Apes....CRANK UP THE STEREO!
Thanks, maybe I'll be able to make it (maybe not).
Kev

You already know to stay at home.
Consider yourself tied to the chair.
Watch your movies and don't dwell on it. I know, easier said than done, my WH is away for a business meeting and the OW is there as well. Believe me, not dwelling has been more than difficult. But there is nothing any of us can do to control WS actions. If she is really very sick she is probably just huddled up at home and does not feel like talking to anyone, a sore throat will do that.
Take Care and Be Strong!!!
Needing

I don't think she's over there, Kev. But even if she is, how does that change anything, the only way it could change anything is if you went over there and caused a scene. Then you'd be in LB-ville.
You're an awesome H for making her chicken noodle soup when she's sick. Just really sweet and thoughtful. She's a knucklehead if she allows you to slip thru her fingers, IMVHO.
Fire up those movies, get some popcorn and ice cream (preferrably mocha choc chip) and settle into the evening, k?
Love,
Jo

Thanks guys, er... gals. I know you're right....just have a very bad feeling, that's all. I started a fire and had a bowl of the stew I made a couple of days ago, YUM!
Guess I'll see if the movies will divert my thoughts.
Thanks,
K

Stay at home tonight and just chill. She's probably already in bed or just feeling miserable and doesn't want to deal with anyone tonight. Don't let your imagination run wild. Put in a movie kick up your feet and relax.
Have a great evening!

Erm, yeah definitely stay home. I didn't tonight, and now I'm mad as hell and feeling like a very angry LB'ing version of Plan B is in order.
I don't recommend you go to the emotional space I'm in right now. In fact, I think I'll start a new thread.
