you are dealing with a controller, and probable sociopath, (meaning he is incapable of caring about anything but himself, the world revolves around him). You must protect yourself, be careful, file all police reports, and seek a court ordered protection order, if he wants to fight city hall they will quickly show him the error of his ways....you are trying to break a toxic pattern, it is gonna be rough, but it is the only way you can be free. Read everything you can on these kinds of people. Do not be confrontational, but be firm, let them be "incharge" when you can afford to (meaning it makes no real difference).

He sounds desperate and angry ,a nd he doesn't like your rules... FInd out what he took and document it... did you call police? You may have to file... but does not mean it has to go through... but I would wait a while... let the dust settle... he sounds very upset... like he liked the cake and eating it too... just be firm... doesn't plan b mean that you can communicate some about kids, etc... when needed? Just a little... plan a him when you do have contact if you want to save marriage.. but be firm... I think it sounds like a temper fit! An overgrown 3 yr. old... who wants it his way!
My thoughts are with you, and I am sorry that it has to be so hard.. take care of you for your health, sounds like you have the in laws from hell, just like I do!
Hugs to you, I don't really know what to do, but take it slow, and think everything through before doing anything that is a major lb, ie, calling police, etc... or filing... let plan b, with kind contact come into play... so he can know how kind you are... but just unwilling to deal with this anymore...
HUgs, honey
