Hi everyone. I have been nothing short of a woman ready for the straightjacket and padded room. School started up for the kids again (16 & 13) and now I have these demanding volunteer meetings and I just don't have the energy to stay focused on the committment on made. Although, it occupies my mind with thoughts other than that of my H and the OW.
Things are no better. In fact just plain miserable. He won't even hold my hand let along display any sign of affection or emotions. Did I tell you all that he hasn't even attempted to have sex with me since last December. Hello, going on a year almost! Don't we women have these physical needs that we want met too? These are all signs to me that he has lied yet again about his affair being over. He no longer attends counseling with me. Says it will change nothing. Even the counselor yesterday keeps telling me to consider a separation.
So, I'm asking, even of the people who were betrayers, why do you stay with the spouse who you are cheating on? Why stay in a marriage when there is clearly no desire to be there? I think this hurts more than if he were just to say he wants a divorce. Really.

TL,
It is quite apparent that he still loves you even though he doesn't show it outwardly. I thought the same thing about my W. I think she is still having an emotional affair right now. She doesn't sleep in our bed any more, yet she will do something every now and then that lets me know that she still cares. It is the little almost insignificant things that say they still care. Yet, at the same time they are to tied up in how they feel to think straight. Emotions are a wonderful thing but they are also a very dangerous thing. They cause us to be tripped up by Satan to sin against God, ourselves, and those we love the most. It is the feel good, hedonistic mentality that our society has drilled into our heads that causes this behavior. We need to get back to the reason the Pilgrims came to America, the right to worship God the one true god. We have lost that focus. When our focus is on HIm and on doing His will, everything else falls into place.
Praying for you and your family.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob
