Could someone give me a list of highly recommended books that I could read this weekend? I know somewhere that someone put a link to this list, just can't seem to find it.

To start with:
"Tough Love" by James Dobson.
"Boundaries" by Henry Claude and Robert Townsend.

WHO-
actually, I am taking a break, a huge break from all of this. This is my first weekend in the new place and I am going to balance my time reading and doing things for myself.
If I can elaborate a bit. I am coming to the conclusion that W may have been planning all of this, that in a way she was looking for a way out of the M and has finally found a reason to do it. Seems kinda strange and far out, but some pieces of the puzzle have been falling into place lately. I just want to absorb as much info as I can right now, for myself, so I can process it and come to my own rational conclusion about where to go. Then, I am going to get as much info as I can about helping my kids through this so they don't have to suffer anymore than they are.
I'm not in any kind of hurry and am by no means giving up on W and the M, thats her call. And, I am not fixating or obsessing on the current state of the M. Its just that I need to know for myself what is going on so I can deal with it myself more effectively. That way I can move on and be a better me. I guess its just a phase that I need to go through on the road to recovery.

lhs,
I hope you don't think I was getting on you. You've been working way to hard. On your M, on yourself, everything. You deserve a reward. If it's not reading a book take a couple of hours and see a movie or something. Hey, go have a beer - have one for me too.
My commnt about it being there when it gets back is just that. I think what you're figuring out is that you W doesn't want to be the one to end it. It's her warped way of justifying the end of the M and blaming it on you. You get the responsibility of the failed M in her eyes. All this trumped up crap is designed so YOU are the one that actually ends it. Anyways, that's what I see from here but all that matters is what you see. Just hoping to see you have a little fun.
who

I appreciate your concern, and no, I don't mind you getting down on me, it keeps me in perspective, thats what real friends do for each other. Its just that I have started to put some things together about W's actions during the last year or so and I need to figure out what they mean to me. If I dont, then it will be constantly gnawing at me, not a good thing. Thats the male 'fix-it' syndrome rearing its ugly head again.
I am taking some time off from all of this. I finally am 'allowed' to get my stuff today and can get into the apt. Tomorrow I plan on going to church, go out for lunch and then go to some stores (the ones with big boy toys) that I have always wanted to go to, but never seemed to have the time.
I even started growing my moustache again, my 'starting over' look, just for me, no one else. Next month softball starts and I have signed up for the company team, after three years of them trying to get me to join.
It took a while, but I am finally letting go of all of this, and it dont feel so bad after all.
