Just heard today that Michael & Juanita Jordan are attempting to reconcile. That should lend some encouragement to all of us. If ever a woman had the grounds and the financial security to file for divorce, it's her.<p>Being from Chicago, I've had the good fortune and pleasure to watch Micheal Jordan on a daily basis.
He is not only the most athletically gifted basketball player to ever lace up a pair of Nikes, he is the most competitive athlete I've ever seen. He has accomplished every personal and professional goal imaginable and has wealth beyond his wildest dreams, but his massive ego and need for the spotlight have always overshadowed his marriage and his family.<p>Thirty years from now, he'll still be the greatest player to ever play the game, however his legacy will not be how he is remembered by the fans as a basketball player, it will be how he is viewed by his family as a husband and father. I only hope he can redirect his his competitive energy into being the greatest husband, father and someday, grandfather that he can be.
