Im feeling so down. My little baby has a cough and its his first...its no big deal, but its been a trying week with him being very unsettled (could b from getting a flu) and all i want is someone to talk to and hug me.
I rang my WH to see if he would be able to go down 2 the chemist to get me some vapour rub and maybe look at humidifiers. but hes sick too so i couldnt ask him directly, and he didnt offer. He says kids get flus. But i'm here on my own and wish i could just cry with someone...so, i'm crying on my own. Its so hard at times to allow God to be my husband and Father. I just want some human contact.
And I feel angry at H because hes not the one here worrying about it, and hes not here to comfort me, even if I am exaggerating. And he still wants to have our son tomorrow for the day even tho hes sick too...why am I so protective? How can I ease up or is this normal?
Feeling sad...
Dancer

Dancer,
{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}
It's terrible to see a baby sick. They cannot tell you whats wrong and look at you as though to ask why you are letting this happen to them.
Shame on your H. Sick or not, he should help get your baby whatever he needs. Your are rightfully upset about this.
Wish I could stay up and talk but I still need to get some sleep. At 3:41 right now, I'll not get much. Others will be along soon.

Hello, Dancer, I don't know too much about sick babies, but I do know the loneliness of these situations. I'm so sorry your H is not acting properly, I understand that!
I asked God to be my H for this time, and He has not let me down! This is a good move on your part, and God is faithful to us. I also understand needing the "human" contact, though!
You are being protective of a sick child, because that's what mothers do!! Stick to your guns. You have the right to say that the child is too sick to go out. Maybe when H sees for himself how sick the baby is, he'll understand why you were so upset.
I hope the new day/light of day brings comfort and peace for you, and healing for your child.
God Bless,
