Honey,
I have read the Monogamy Myth and it is very good. That was the 1st website that I found after Dday. I was so amazed that there was anything on this subject! Even did a session with Dear Peggy.
Then I found MB & ther priniples made sense to me. This board is what really makes the difference. I knew I would need this support to be able to cope day to day, and to learn & grow.
REad, read, read. Isn't it funny how we become so knowledgable on this subject?
My Wh has had a horrendous MLC. His good friends (not his "friends") can't believe what an [censored] he had made of himself. I think it's all intertwined, MCL, drinking, A's. They loose themselves when they think they are trying to "find" themselves.
Hang in there Honey,

God Bless,
D.
Let us know about your MB lunch - will you go?

Honey I have a huge pile of books under my bed from last year! I read every thing I could get my hands on about MLC and affairs. I felt the best books about MLC are by Jim and Sally Conway- he has one about men's MLC that is excellent! It's called " Men in Mid-Life Crisis'. He also has one about womens MLC too. Another excellent book for you to read is the book "Affairs' by Emily Brown. She really gets into the MLC type of A and is very thorough about the types of affairs, probably outcomes and root causes. Happy Reading! Monogamy Myth is good too! PS I am now selling my books on Ebay( couldnt fit anymore under my bed!!!) - and doing quite well at it! Yay! lifeismessy

I haven't read Monogamy Myth, but Conway's books on MLC are excellent, I especially liked YOUR HUSBANDS MIDLIFE CRISIS, because it has method of dealing with specific incidents--like when he comes over, when you know about an A.
