My husband is just entering a 12 step program for his cyber sex addiction. It started with porn magazines long ago. I didn't realize how bad it was until over a year ago when I found out. I am now in counseling myself to cope with this huge deception I've experienced. He is good to me..loves me...but sometimes I feel panicky and want to run to another man...any man. Please help...comments? advice? just some compassion?

Hi Annie77 - I am new here too, and also am dealing with my husband's porn addiction. I still have to read through all the material on the website. The hard part is that he's been deployed by the National Guard and has been out of state since last Oct. We have been talking, I've confronted him, etc etc and he says just last week he is going to stop and has not been looking at the internet. I can only take him at his word as I am not with him, so it's "one day at a time" for me right now. I hope he is being honest with me, and more especially with himself.

if he is an 'addict'..which is 'highly' possible, he wont' be able to quit on his own. My husband just started a 12 step program with sex addicts. He is really wanting to change, but to admit he's an addict was a big step. I went to counseling last night and was helped. I have a christian faith and I use that to go through this horrible pain---giving it to my God has really helped me. I'll pray for you...
