Rock, you did say something about the picnic and then, I have big shoulder, will have to admit that I said I would bring the potatoe salad! LMAO

I don't ever remember participating in a sack race...I may not be a good candidate for that one...could get some good laughs though...I do remeber the three legged race...LOL...kinda the same! LOL

I could use some laughs. So that settles it, you are my 3 legged race partner.

M2L....if you're gonna change the title of this thread, the least you could do is bump it!

OK Here's another topic: Why would it be detrimental for an addicted MB lurker/poster to be an air traffic controller?

EDITED TO SAY:

[color:"red"] Hey!!! Maybe2Late....yooooo hooooo!

I've conquered my addiction to posting on MB so you can fly now......yeah, I am an air traffic controller - sort of- and I had to fly down to the 4th page to find this thread...

...jeeeez....that withdrawal to addiction was a bear!

(And, actually I feel pretty important that this thread slipped so far while I was in withdrawal..... )

But I saw that Still's sig line had the info you were looking for, so it was worth it to fly into the depths to resurrect the picnic...

...and lookeeee who joined our picnic (below) and is bringing the fried checken to go along with Carnation's S M O K E D brisket....(is it about done, Car?)

See, I have this new lap-top so I COULD post during the day, but I did not because I dumped the demons of posting addiction! Whooo hoooo!

Anyhow, I posted this last night, hoping you'd see it and Still and Mom and Car have popped on in to say 'hi'. So it was worth it to rebump the thread (and our picnic).

Are you there M2L? [/color]

I have been wanting to ask this question without TJ someone.

Did you find the answer to this question? I just noticed that Stillhurting01's sig line has it listed.

Ace,

Retrouvaille is a weekend offered through the Catholac church for troubled marriages. Those that are seperated on the verge of divorcing.

You don't have to be any particular religion to participate. It's made of of couples who have been in difficult situations also .We had 2 couples dealing with infidelity. On of the couples was weeks away from a divorce. There is also a preist there.

We had every religion there on our weekend. They tell you right up front that this will not fix your M in one weekend but show you how to really communictae with your partner. They frown if one of the partners is still involved in the affair. There is also 6 weeks follow up.

If you do go do the follow ups. That was our downfall (not besides WH really didn't want to be there) Plus our follow ups wheir 3 hours away in a different state. It cause many arguments between us.

You can google it and they have much more information. It was around 4-5 hundred but they only asked you to pay at the end if you felt you got something out of it. I highly recommend it. It didn't work for me but nothing is 100%

If you have any other questions let me know.

Still

LOL!

What a thread!

I hate that I have been missing out on all the fun!

Carnation, I'm a DFW-ite (?) also, howdy neighbor!

What I want to know is...

where is the fried chicken?

What kind of respectable picnic does not have fried chicken.

And yes I'm terribly addicted.

Got a problem with that

MOM, No I don't have a problem with you being addicted. But I was late to work and had to stay late (out of guilt) several times last week. I broke those addiction demons, I hope. (It's almost been a week since I last posted.) And Mom....I vote that you bring the fried chicken to the pretend picnic.

STILL: Maybe2Late was asking about Retrouvaille info (mentioned earlier in this thread.) So I'm hoping he'll check out this thread.....since he's the one who started it.

Thanks for the info Still. I saw the term a few times and was just wondering what it was. Thanks again.

BTW I'm a FBH, not a FBW. No big deal with me. I just wanted you to know what sex I was and therefore where my POV is coming from.

As it so happens I will be flying next month. Please leave the computer out of the control tower then.

Still & M2L,

My bad.....see what withdrawal does to a foggy BS brain ....but I fixed the gender thing, I think.

Thanks, still.....saw where you're signed up for Chrisners' Killer Bees. I posted a silly thought just before you and then regretted it. I'll remove it if you think it's too insensitive......

....but I have to go for now...gotta clear the jets for take off (and prove that I AM NOT ADDICTED)

The fog is lifting! (good one, by the way)

See, DH likes these kinds of days, not me. West side is cool. Don't get much of an opportunity to get down there with two kids etc. We are north of the metroplex out in the 'burbs. You've probably never heard of our itty bitty hamlet.

I love to read too although I have to admit my MB addiction has put quite a damper on my book reading. I still keep buying books though, guess I need to actually start reading them.

I tend to have an addictive personality anyway I think, so it's better that I'm addicted to MB than many other things I could think of. Besides I'm not ready to fly solo yet, I'm afraid I might get complacent and forget what I've learned and I don't want that to happen!

What kind of stuff do you guys like to read? What was the last thing you bought to read?

LOL! Have to laugh at that. I have oodles of scrapbooking stuff...I have completed a grand total of about 3, count 'em, 3...pages.

The Glass Castle? Haven't heard of that one. The last movie I saw was Zodiac (I love that kind of stuff). I want to see 23 and Premonition. The last book I bought was Wherever you go, there you are...but haven't started it yet...
