I have been married 13 years and found out 12 weeks ago that for the last 9 years my husband has been seeing prostitutes about once a month. I had no idea, none at all. He is getting counseling and says he will never do this again. I made him move out the day I found out about one prostitute. (He told me at first she was the only one, I guess because she was the only one I had found out about at the time.) It was a few weeks later that I found out how long it had been going on. I love him but how can I ever forget or get past all of this? Has anyone been through anything like this?

I am so sorry for your pain. Try not to make any decisions right now. Firstly get yourself to the doc for STD testing. Read everything here and listen to advice given.

I am 51 and my husband is 52. This was a second marriage for both us. I have two sons, my oldest is 19 and being deployed to Afghanistan next month and my youngest is a senior in highschool. I was tested to HIV and he was tested for all STD's and somehow we escaped that. I did find out 4 weeks ago that he was arrested in 2002 for trying to pick up a street walker that was a police officer. Unforunatly they did an arrest and release so he only had to pay a fine! So I never even knew about it.

had been seeing prostitutes for 26 years.
Later, she changed her name to MadSoMad.
After that, she went by the name, DancesWithGoats (you had to be there to understand).
They went to a MB weekend ... and no longer post on the public board (on private board)
So ........ you are not the first "customer" who has had a spouse who has cheated a loooooooong time with hookers.
