Protect yourself by doing the same. You mention a young child. You are not eligible for child support until you have filed for divorce.
Take care of yourself, your health and your child, but also protect yourself financially.
Find a counselor, and a divorce support group to help you through this difficult time.
Welcome to the rollercoaster, many of us have been on for a long time, but we all learn from the experience.
God bless you.

I agree totally with NEWLY, you need to start getting your ducks in a row. You need to visit with a lawyer to see what all your options and entitlements are.

I did a consultation about two months before our divorce was filed, just to make sure that I would be protected. Though there were still suprises, for the most part, everything went as the lawyer said it would.

I know you don't want this divorce but the sad fact is that there may not be anything you can do to stop it, in the mean time you need to protect the interests of yourself and your child.
